STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — July 21, 2026 — Serac Capital Partners Announces Opening of Distinctly Steamboat Springs Mountain Lodge, featuring a dual-brand property with the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Steamboat Springs and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Steamboat Springs.

Serac Capital Partners today announced the opening of its newest Colorado investment: a mountain lodge thoughtfully designed to capture the history and culture of the valley’s ski and ranching heritage.

The dual-branded 180-key property features custom finishes throughout, 10,000 SF of common area, Alta Mesa, a full-service restaurant, and The Crawford Lounge, a full-service lobby lounge with fire pits overlooking the ski mountain.

The property delivers an elevated mountain lodge experience from the moment guests arrive. A dramatic porte-cochère and bronze bear statue welcome guests. Inside, guests are greeted by aspen-log walls harvested from the Yampa Valley, stone fireplaces, rich leather furnishings, reclaimed-wood ceilings and walls, and a restored Christie III ski lift chair.

Designed for mountain travelers and families, the guest rooms are more than 400 square feet. The Crawford Lounge, named after James and Margaret Crawford, Steamboat’s founding family, is designed for après-ski, with ski mountain views, outdoor firepits, an indoor fireplace, leather couches, and a large granite bar.

With ski mountain views throughout, amenities include two large outdoor hot tubs and heated pool, large fitness center, spacious meeting room, and secure indoor storage adjacent to the registration desk for skis, snowboards, and high-end bikes.

Located one mile from skier drop off, the hotel offers continuous shuttle service, along with 15 restaurants, two grocery stores, two Starbucks, a movie theater, Yampa Valley Medical Center, and more in walking distance of the hotel.
